The Government of Sindh has made a prominent move by introducing Transgender Education Policy. This is the first-ever policy after the issuance of a teacher’s license.
The policy is in its final steps now and the Education Minister of Sindh has stressed the importance of equal education rights for everyone. He believes that transgenders should have the same opportunities as everyone else in society.
Additionally, the policy also includes scholarships for transgender students which allow them to pursue further educational opportunities.
A great step for the transgenders community which will allow them to live a peaceful life like everyone else in the society.
