Top Austrian Institutes Have Announced Subsidized education and Scholarships for Pakistani Students

According to the News, the University of Applied Sciences – FH JOANNEUM will only charge PAF-IAST students a minimal out-of-EU fee of EUR 80 rather than the whole EUR 9,000. The tuition price for PAF-IAST students has been waived by the University of Applied Sciences – Management Center Innsbruck. Scholarships for PAF-IAST students have also been announced by the International Cooperation Higher Education Austria (OEAD), which will cover living expenses up to EUR 1,180. The development occurred during the PAF-IAST delegation’s recent visit to Austria. The trip was led by the Vice Chair of the PAF-IAST Board of Governors Dr, Atta Ur Rahman. Former Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate PAF-IAST in Haripur’s Mang region in September 2020.
Proton launches Esaar Program for flood relief

The Pakistani government has established the Prime Minister’s Flood Assistance Fund, in 2022, to provide relief and rehabilitation to those affected by torrential rains and flash floods in numerous parts of the country. Donations and contributions from both domestic and international sources are accepted by the Fund. The Fund is handled by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), and its accounts are kept by the Accountant General of Pakistan. Prime Minister’s Flood Relief Fund Account, 2022 has been opened in the State Bank of Pakistan and all commercial and microfinance banks have also opened accounts for the Fund and are accepting cash donations/contributions, as well as cheques, pay orders, and demand draughts, at all of their branches across the country. They also have different facilitations for overseas and domestic donors.
A Complex of 25-story Will be Built Near Gaddafi Stadium at a Cost of $1 Billion

The Punjab Chief Minister, Chaudhary Pervez Elahi, has announced plans to build a 5-star facility near Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium. This latest construction will assist the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in accommodating international teams near the stadium, greatly improving traffic circulation around the city. According to the specs, the 25-story tower will cost at least $1 billion to build, with the United Arab Emirates footing the majority of the price.
The Punjab government would contribute 30 percent and the UAE government would contribute 70 percent to the new complex, according to the CM Punjab. The CM of Punjab disclosed that the UAE will bear 70% of the cost, with the Punjab government covering the remainder. The property will include a 5-star hotel as well as a high-performance center for the athletes. Furthermore, there are rumors that a tunnel would be built from the facility to the stadium, which will aid in providing flawless protection to visiting teams.
Green Framework Engagement Agreement Signed Between Pakistan and Denmark

On Wednesday in Copenhagen, Pakistan and Denmark inked the Green Framework Engagement Agreement. The agreement was signed by Ahmad Farooq, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Denmark, and Lis Rosenholm, Denmark’s Ambassador to Pakistan. The Green Framework Engagement is based on the two countries’ strong interests, lofty objectives, and shared ideas for a green and sustainable future for the world, including private sector engagement and public-private partnerships.
The Green Framework Engagement will be the first step for greater collaboration in areas like climate change mitigation and adaptation, as well as a just and sustainable green transition. Following the conclusion of the Framework Engagement, the two countries will establish a Joint Plan of Action comprising specific collaborative initiatives.
Pakistani Team Won Two Bronze in International Culinary Competition held in Malaysia

A Sindh team of three female students won bronze in the recently held Battle of the Chefs-2022 competition in Malaysia. The World Association of Chef Societies in Penang organized the three-day cooking competition. Sonia Mujib, Bisma Ejaz, and Nida Sheik are students at Karachi’s Pakistan Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management (PITHAM), which is run by the Sindh government’s Tourism and Culture Department.
The work of the three pupils was overseen by two institute lecturers, Amir Iqbal and Mehreen Mushtaq. It was the PITHAM’s first time competing in an international tournament. Students from other countries hospitality training colleges competed, including Malaysia, Indonesia, South Korea, and Thailand.
The FBISE Announced the Results of the HSSC Part-II Annual Exams

The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has released the results of the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) part-II yearly test. The Federal Education Minister, Rana Tanveer Hussain, was allegedly the prominent guest at the official results declaration ceremony, which took place earlier today at FBISE’s headquarters in Islamabad. The minister presented Detailed Marks Certificates (DMCs) to the top students in each academic category. The remaining students can view their findings in a variety of ways. The first is the official website of FBISE. Another way to check the result is to send an SMS to 5050 with the following text: FB(Space)[Roll Number].
The third option is to contact FBISE at 051 9269555-59.
The FBISE will also communicate the results to candidates through SMS if they submitted their mobile phone numbers on their admission forms.
