The government has announced a 35% increase in the salary of employees from grades 1 to 16. Furthermore, it has approved an increase of 30% in the salaries of employees from grade 17 to 22.
The government has not forgotten the retired employees as it also announced an increase of 17.5% in the pensions of retired employees.
Also, a minimum wage of 30,000 has been set for the employees considering the inflation. Buying essential goods was getting out of reach for most people due to their low salaries and higher inflation.
The increase in salaries will surely decrease the stress among Pakistani citizens and allow them to live where they can have the basic necessities of life.
