Several British universities have recently announced the launch of free scholarships for male and female students from Pakistan, according to a report by 24NewsHD TV channel.
Pawan Dhande, the Director of Communication and Public Diplomacy at the British High Commission in Islamabad, shared this information earlier this week.
Dhande revealed that these scholarships offer Pakistani students the opportunity to pursue higher education in the UK without any financial burden.
The aim is to support and encourage talented individuals from Pakistan to pursue their academic aspirations in British universities.
Speaking about the bilateral relations between Pakistan and Britain, Dhande expressed a desire to strengthen these ties further.
He emphasized the significant contributions made by the 1.6 million people of Pakistani heritage living in the UK, who actively participate in all aspects of British society, including holding senior leadership positions.
During his visit to Karachi, Dhande explored different parts of the city and expressed his admiration for its rapid progress and development.
Pawan Dhande assumed the position of Director of Communication and Public Diplomacy at the British High Commission in Islamabad last month, taking over from Fouzia Younis, who has been appointed as the British Consul General in Toronto.
The introduction of these scholarships by British universities demonstrates their commitment to promoting educational opportunities and fostering closer ties between Pakistan and the UK.
It presents a significant opportunity for Pakistani students to pursue their academic goals and contribute to both countries through their knowledge and expertise.
