Peugeot is Offering Immediate Delivery and Price Lock Despite Crippling Inflation

peugeot announces priority delivery

In the midst of the ongoing economic turbulence, car manufacturers are pulling out all the stops to attract customers. Following in the footsteps of Kia and Suzuki, Lucky Motor Corporation Limited (LMCL) has now introduced a similar deal for Peugeot.

LMCL is offering immediate delivery and a price lock guarantee for those looking to purchase a new Peugeot 2008 Active or Allure variant. While the exact delivery time for these SUVs remains undisclosed, it’s safe to assume that this offer is available for a limited time and on a first-come, first-served basis.

Now, let’s talk about the Peugeot 2008. It’s a B-segment SUV that competes with rivals like the Kia Stonic, MG ZS, and Chery Tiggo 4 Pro. Under the hood, it boasts a 1.2-liter turbocharged 3-cylinder petrol engine, churning out a robust 131 horsepower and 220 Newton-meters of torque. This power is efficiently sent to the front wheels through a 6-speed automatic transmission.

But that’s not all; the 2008 is packed with modern features, including adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, blind-spot detection, hill-start assist, lane-keeping assist, electronic stability programming (ESP), drowsiness detection, road sign and speed limit recognition, a 180-degree camera, and even an overhead vehicle view.

As for the price, the 2008 starts at Rs. 7.05 million and goes up to Rs. 7.80 million. It’s worth noting that it falls into the same price category as the Toyota Corolla Altis. However, the Peugeot 2008 manages to stand out by offering better looks, superior performance, and a richer set of features compared to its competitors. This makes it a formidable contender in the mid-to-high-tier car market.
