In China, the Honor Play5 smartphone has been released. It looks and performs similarly to the Huawei Nova 8 SE with the Dimensity 800U processor, which was launched in November of last year. Here’s all you need to know about the Honor Play5’s specifications and features.
Display
The display is a 6.53-inch OLED panel with a U-shaped notch for the front camera and a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The waterdrop notch on the screen holds a selfie camera of 16-megapixel. It offers HDR10 compatibility, a tall 20:9 aspect ratio, and a high screen-to-body ratio owing to its ultra-thin bezels. The fingerprint sensor is located under the screen.
Storage
The gadget is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U, which is on par with the Snapdragon 765G in terms of performance. You may choose between 128GB and 256GB of storage, although both trims come with 8GB of RAM. Honor hasn’t indicated whether or not there will be a microSD card slot.
The phone runs on an out-of-date version of Android 10 with Magic UI 4.0 on top. Google applications and services are not supported in the Chinese version.
Camera
The Honor Play5 has a squarish camera module on the backside with a 64MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultrawide camera. For depth sensing and macro photography, the other two cameras have 2MP sensors. Both 4K 30 FPS and 1080p 60 FPS video recording are supported. The 16MP front camera has a wide-angle lens and can capture 1080p video.

Price
The Honor Play 5 will cost $326 and will be available in black, purple, and gradient colors. This is the selling price in China; the worldwide model will have a slightly different price.
