All About Tecno Pova 2

Tecno Pova 2, a budget-friendly smartphone especially targeted at gamers. Previously, there were very few smartphones that were designed for game lovers. So, this is one of the best additions to the gaming phone. 

Design and Display

The smartphone-based on its outlook is very decent. The gaming feature is only targeted at its performance and not its design. It has a glossy back with a paint job that portrays the rays of light. The rear camera is located at the top left corner of the smartphone. This handset is fitted with a slightly larger 6.9 inches display with 1080 x 2460 resolution. Tecno Pova 2 comes with a side-mounted finger scanner.  Along with that, it has a 60Hz refresh rate.

Internals and Storage

Tecno Pova 2 has a Media Tek Helio G85 paired with 6GB RAM which is a gaming processor. The best features include System Turbo 2.0 and ET Game Engine that boosts an awesome gaming performance on this smartphone. Additionally, the phone has a Game Space 2.0 for a unique UI that enhances gameplay. And this is carried out by the ability to accelerate memory, network connectivity, and boosting CPU and GPU power. For better graphical execution, it has a Mali-G52 GPU.

This variant of the Pova series has 128GB built-in internal storage and it can be increased by inserting a memory card in the sd card slot. 

Camera

As the mobile phone is targeted for gaming purposes, its capturing ability is not up to the mark. Tecno Pova 2 houses a 48-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera which is quite good for a decent picture. For picture or video capturing in low light conditions, the night mode feature is not available in this version of Tecno. 

Connectivity

Connectivity options in this phone include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, a 3.5mm audio jack, and more. 

Battery 

It has a 7000 mAh battery which is completely massive. The company claims that with its 18W fast charging support, the battery can last for days.

Launch

The Tecno Pova 2 is expected to launch in June 2021.

Price

The retail price of the gaming phone is expected to start from Rs. 26,999.

Final Words

Despite being a downside in terms of camera, the Tecno Pova 2 houses a massive 7,000 mAh battery which is an elite factor for gaming purposes.

Don’t be angry if you see any ads on your Tecno phone. This is something that comes with every Tecno smartphone. These ads can be removed easily by going to the desktop settings on the main screen. There you will find ‘other settings’ in which you need to uncheck all the options. This is one thing that I recommend personally for all Tecno smartphones. 

All in all, the device is a big upgrade over the original Tecno Pova smartphone.
