Apple unveiled its newest masterpieces; we now have a brand-new iPad Air along with a performance boost for the entry level iPad!

The new iPad Air has a clean fresh design which seems to be inspired by the previous iPad Pro line. They decided to resize the screen bezels to be a bit smaller, the port is a USB-C which means no more Lightning ports and it comes with a 20W charger in the box too!

The new iPad Air is fully loaded with Touch ID, 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display with 2360×1640 resolution, and a top-mounted power button. This beast is powered by Apple’s all-new A14 Bionic chipset which is also said to be featured in the upcoming iPhone 12 when it’s launched later this year. Apple claims the A14 to be built on a 5nm process which is the first in the industry to tap that milestone!

With a 6-core CPU design – two high performance cores and 4 high efficiency cores – performance is said to be improved by 40% and the GPU is 30% faster compared to the previous iPad Air.

In terms of the camera at the back, they have carried the same one from the iPad Pro models. It includes a 12MP shooter with f/1.8 aperture, supports 4k video recording at 60fps, 240fps slow-mo, and improved video stabilization. And for the selfies you get a 7MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and 1080p video quality at 60fps.

The all new iPad Air will be running at iPadOS 14, and will be available next month starting at $599 (Wi-Fi only) or $729 (Wi-Fi + Cellular) with 64GB (Or 256GB at $749/ $879) in Silver, Space Grey, Rose Gold, Green, and Sky Blue.

    iPad (8th Generation)

This tablet is exactly the same as its predecessor. With its 10.2-inch display and big traditional bezels, along with the same price carried forward at $329 (Wi-Fi only) and $459 (Wi-Fi + Cellular).

The new entry-level, 8th generation iPad 2020 will come with the A12 Bionic chipset, with a 6-core CPU and 4-core GPU.

The prices mentioned above are for the standard 32GB, and there will be an option for 128GB at $429/$559. They are already available for pre-orders and the 8th Gen iPad 2020 will be available this Friday in Silver, Space Grey, and Gold!
