Add a fun theme to Chrome on your PC!
Google Chrome themes are good for changing the overall appearance of the UI. The theme is seen around the browser’s border and as the background when you start a new tab. Because your Chrome themes are saved in your Google Account, you will see the same theme when you sign in to Chrome on any computer.
Change a Google Chrome Theme
Investing in Google Themes allows your personality to come through. Quickly customize your Chrome theme by adding different colors and characters to the homepage, new tab background, a search bar, and a bookmarks tab. There will undoubtedly be a Chrome theme that you favor.
There are two methods to change a Google chrome theme:
Method # 1
1. Open ‘Chrome Web Store’.
2. Select ‘Themes’ right below the search box on the left-hand side.
3. Pick your favorite theme and select ‘Add to Chrome’.
4. Enjoy your new scenery.
Method # 2
1. Enter the Chrome browser settings by clicking on the three dots in the top right corner.
2. Choose ‘Settings’, then select ‘Appearance’.

3. Pick the ‘Theme’ of your choice, and select ‘Add to Chrome’.
4. Enjoy your new scenery.
Pick a Color Scheme
If you don’t want to use a Chrome theme, you can still change the color of your browser window. You can access this function from two different locations.
Method # 1
Pick a Scheme in the Chrome Settings
1. Open your Settings from the three dots in the top right corner.
2. Click on ‘You and Google’ on the left.
5. Select ‘Customize Profile’.
4. Pick a theme color.
Method # 2
Pick a Scheme on the New Tab Page
1. Open the ‘New Tab’ page.
2. Select ‘Customize Chrome’ or the ‘Customize This Page’ (pencil) icon.
3. Pick ‘Color and Theme’.
4. Choose a color scheme and select ‘Done’.
Each color scheme consists of two colors. The window and tabs are darker in color, while your active tab is lighter.
Remove a Google Chrome Theme
1. Open Chrome.
2. Open Settings by clicking the three dots in the top right corner.
3. Choose ‘Appearance’, and click ‘Reset to Default’.
4. You’ll see the classic Google Chrome theme again.
