These scholarships have already helped more than 900 women pursue education in fields like food security, education, health, and STEM. In the 2020-21 round, there were over 13,000 applications for Master’s and Bachelor’s programs combined. These scholarships are given to female students who are studying in master’s and bachelor’s programs. They focus on fields like education, agriculture and food security, sustainable energy, health sciences, and STEM engineering. These are all very important areas for Pakistan’s development.

The Scotland Pakistan Scholarships for young women and girls provides the following support to the recipients:
- Tuition fees for courses in eligible fields.
- University hostel costs (if applicable).
- Travel expenses for two trips between home and university each year for students staying in on-campus hostels.
Subject Area
These scholarships are available for a four-year bachelor’s degree program at a Pakistani university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). The eligible subject areas are:

Eligibility Criteria
- Be citizens of Pakistan currently living in Pakistan.
- Be pursuing a four-year bachelor’s degree in the mentioned subject areas.
- Have a confirmed admission offer from a public university in Pakistan recognized by the HEC.
