As of now, visa applications will not be accepted within Pakistan, and applicants must apply at designated VFS Global centers in various Asian cities.
Pakistani applicants are required to visit VFS Global centers in Bangkok, Yangon, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Manila, Cebu, Jakarta, Bali, Phnom Penh, Kuala Lumpur, and Singapore to submit their visa applications in person. During the application process, applicants need to provide their original passports and biometric data, including fingerprints.
The processing of applications will take place at the Embassy of Sweden in Bangkok and is expected to last 21 days. This period covers 15 days for general processing and an additional six days for document transport and delivery. During this time, applicants will not have access to their passports.
The Embassy of Sweden strongly advises applicants to consider this timeline when planning their travel and recommends arranging changeable flight tickets. Please note that expedited or priority processing options are not available.
It is important to mention that the responsibility of choosing the location for visa application and arranging for a visa, if necessary, lies solely with the applicant. The Swedish Embassy will not provide any assistance or information regarding securing entry permits or visas for the country of application.
Applicants are allowed to submit their applications up to six months before their intended visit to Sweden. For detailed information on the application process, including appointment booking and required documents, applicants can visit the VFS Global websites for each respective country.
The Embassy of Sweden in Islamabad has clarified that they will not entertain any further queries or provide additional information beyond what has already been provided regarding visa applications.
