Due to the increased demand for the public’s convenience, the railway administration has decided to operate three special trains on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
The first Eid special train will run on July 8 from Quetta to Peshawar via Lahore, per the PR timetable released on Friday. On the same day, a second Eid special train will run between Karachi and Lahore.
The third train will depart Lahore for Karachi on July 13 in order to accommodate all travellers going to and from their hometowns to observe the holy event.
The trains will have regular air-conditioned coaches as well as air-conditioned business class coaches and economy class coaches.
Eidul Azha will occur on July 10, according to a statement made earlier this week by Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad, the chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee.
He stated at a press briefing in Karachi that no reports of seeing the moon had come from any region of Pakistan.
As a result, everyone agreed that July 10 would be the day to observe Eid Ul Azha.
