British Airways Opens Direct Flights to Islamabad Again

British Airways Resumes Direct Flights to Islamabad

According to a contract, British Airways would be required to pay aeronautical fees to the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA). The airline will be required to follow the designated flight routes, according to the PCAA’s approval letter.

The administration of British Airways will be required to notify the relevant Pakistani authorities in advance of any cancelled or delayed flights, and the company will not be permitted to transport military or spying equipment on its flights.

It is important to note that the airline had temporarily halted operations for flights to Islamabad two months prior.

After the period of the agreement expired in February of this year, British Airways stopped operating direct flights between Lahore and London Heathrow.

Flights between Lahore and London have been halted, according to a spokeswoman for the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). This is owing to operational issues.
