Eid-ul-Adha 2022 Holiday has been Announced by Government

The Government has announced a 5-Day Holiday for Eid-ul-Adha this year. Finally, good news after many heart wrenching news that we have been receiving from the past few months. 

The Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr Shehbaz Sharif has approved a holiday from July 8 to July 12 this Eid-ul-Adha. The cabinet secretary was instructed to proceed with the premier’s permission, according to a letter released by the PM Office. Earlier, the Cabinet Division sent a summary of the Eid holidays to the PM’s office.

Eid Ul Azha will be observed on July 10 (Sunday), according to Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad, chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, who made the announcement on June 29.

One of two Eid celebrations observed by Muslims, Eidul Adha, also known as the Feast of Sacrifice, honours Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to offer his son as a sacrifice to God. Traditionally celebrated with the sacrifice of animals, whose flesh is distributed to family members and the underprivileged. For the duration of the three days of Eid, the devout sacrifice their animals in honour of Prophet Ibrahim’s custom.
