Firefighters, police officers, medical personnel, disaster recovery crews, and highway police are all part of the integrated Pakistan Emergency Helpline (PEHEL)-911. As long as a person needs help, they can contact 911 to get in touch with the relevant local government department.

Officials claim that the state has a responsibility to improve the lives of the common people, and that his goal is to make Pakistan a welfare state. Furthermore, they want to make people’s lives easier, much like any welfare state, so that they may feel confident about getting help if they need it.

The PEHEL helpline will also allow the government to keep track of crime statistics, as well as assess the needs of different sectors.Islamabad, currently, has a number of separate emergency services, each with their own unique dialing numbers. The new unified 911 service will allow those in need to contact the appropriate emergency response service on a single platform.
