The spokesperson for the Ministry of Religious Affairs announced the first Hajj flight to depart from Islamabad on Monday, June 6 2022.
According to the schedule of Hajj flights, a total of 32,000 pilgrims are expected to make the journey to Saudi Arabia through 106 Hajj aircraft.
The Road to Mecca project will see 42 aircraft departing from Islamabad. Moreover, Hajj pilgrims are being notified about their flights through the website and receiving SMS on their registered mobile numbers.
