In a recent development, the Islamabad administration has initiated doorstep document registrations.
To offer convenience to citizens and to avoid long queues, the Capital Administration will now offer registration of documents like Car Tax Tokens, Birth Certificates, International Driving licenses, Power of Attorney, Domicile certificates, and more.
To avail of the service, the citizens need to book an appointment and get the required details from the administration’s representative.
Afterward, the doorstep mobile van will reach the doorstep of citizens within a given time.
Doorstep Vehicle Registration – NADRA
In March 2023, NADRA also launched a convenient Doorstep Service for vehicle registration. This service allows citizens to avoid the hassle of visiting the excise office for car registration or transfer.
With the new service, citizens can schedule an appointment and receive all the necessary information from a representative of the administration.
Once an appointment is made, a mobile van will arrive at the citizen’s doorstep within the designated time frame.
A team of NADRA officials will not only register the vehicle at the citizen’s home but also issue the license plate.
To avail of this service, citizens need to contact NADRA’s agents and book an appointment by providing relevant details.
Within 2 to 3 days, assigned representatives will visit the citizen’s residence. The entire registration process usually takes around 10 to 15 minutes.
