In karachi, 17 people died mysteriously in just one day. The rescue team discovered an additional seven dead bodies in different parts of the city.
According to the rescue official reports, most of the individuals who died were drug addicts due to extreme waves in the city. The age of the deceased ranged from 35 – 60 years old.
The rescue officials said that six bodies were found in Jama Cloth Market, Golimar, Super Highway, Gulistan-e-Johar, Federal B Area, and Landhi. Additionally, one body showing signs of torture was found near Fatima Jinnah society.
Police surgeon Dr Summaiya confirmed that most of the people died from heat stroke.
Karachi is facing major heat waves these days.
