On 2nd December 2021, Proton announced that the Proton Saga vehicles, locally assembled in Pakistan will now be available to customers at 3S authorized dealerships.
Previously, due to Covid-19 restrictions, global supply chain disruptions, and multiple other hurdles, customers had to wait for a long time but, now with the first batch dispatched to dealerships, customers don’t have to wait any longer.
Al-Haj, the Exclusive Proton Distributor in Pakistan
Al-Haj Automotive, Proton’s partner in Pakistan, has made it possible for Pakistani customers to avail this exciting opportunity. Al-Haj signed an agreement with Proton on 29th August 2019 as its assembler and exclusive authorized distributor in Pakistan.
Proton is an automotive maker from Malaysia. Proton vehicles are imported from Malaysia and locally assembled at Al-Haj’s Karachi plant. The Plant can assemble 25000 units per year.
The Karachi plant was inaugurated in October 2021, where the President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi was invited among other guests.
Proton SAGA Product Launch
Proton SAGA launched the SAGA lineup on 9th April having three models: Saga AT, Saga MT, and Saga Ace AT. A limited-edition vehicle Saga R3 is also available.
