More than 90% of Twitter Inc.’s employees in India were laid off over the weekend as part of Elon Musk’s global firing spree.
Elon said:
I’m downsizing Twitter’s workforce due to expenses. We’re losing almost $4 million each day,” leaving me with no choice but to downsize.
The CEO is also pressuring the remaining staff to move swiftly with releasing new features; some workers have even slept at the office to achieve their targets.
According to sources, the organization has now only 3,700 employees left.
