Fake Eid Holidays Notification With Long Weekend Goes Viral

In a surprising turn of events, a fake notification is circulating on the internet regarding the Eid holidays.

According to the viral notification, the Government of Pakistan has declared Eid holidays from 27th June to 1st July 2023.

The news is false as the Ministry of Religious Affairs, PMD, and Ruet-e-Hilal Committee have not yet, sighted the moon nor have released any statement.

The public is advised to refrain from such news and to await official notifications as expected.
