Lahore Qalanders vs. Multan Sultans was a fun, one-run win for Lahore. The match took place in the Multan Cricket Stadium.
Shaheen Shah Afridi’s Great Bowling
In the last 5 overs, 49 runs were needed, and Mohammad Rizwan, alongside David Miller, seemed like the right fit.
Unfortunately, Shaheen Shah Afridi gave just 16 runs in 2 overs (16th and 18th) and bowled Rizwan with a slower one, seizing more runs.
The Perfect Yorker By Haris
Haris Rauf removed Miller with a pitch-perfect yorker at the start of the 19th over. He allowed just 4 runs in the 17th over.
Fakhar Zaman Reached 2,000
Fakhar Zaman made 66 runs off 42 balls for Lahore. He became the only player after Babar Azam to make a total of 2,000 runs in PSL.
Multan Had a Great Start
Chasing a 176-run target, Multan started off with Shan Masood (35 off 31) and Rizwan (75 off 50). Both of them put a 100-run partnership.
Shan was knocked out by Hussain Talat, and that was the only wicket that fell before Rizwan.
The match took a turn after 53 runs in the Powerplay, where Lahore Qalandars delivered an incredible bowling performance and secured victory.
