PPSC Introduces E-Payment System for Online Job Applications

Candidates seeking jobs with the Punjab Public Service Commission must pay their fees at a National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) branch. In order to make the application process easier for job seekers, the PPSC has finally agreed to integrate an e-payment method into the portal.

An official from the Punjab Information Technology Board confirmed to the PPSC that the e-payment system had been designed in conjunction with them (PITB).

PPSC will begin issuing 17-digit Payment Slip IDs to candidates who apply for jobs on its web portal beginning August 1, 2022. The cost must be paid using the PSID by ATM, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Microfinance Banks, or over the counter at a 1Link member bank or branch that is closest to the user’s current location.

Candidates will receive a confirmation SMS and email from PPSC after submitting the fee. Candidates will be able to finish their applications on the PPSC employment portal once their confirmation has been received.

E-payments would not only help candidates, but will also speed up the application process, a company spokeswoman said. As a result, challan forms that are false or underpaid will no longer be accepted.
