After Toyota, Honda, KIA, Suzuki, and Changan, Hyundai-Nishat has also raised the costs of their vehicles. According to sources, the price of their Hyundai Tucson has increased by Rs. 1,000,000.

This price increase is the result of the Pakistani Rupee’s ongoing depreciation versus the US Dollar (USD), as everyone would expect. The company said in the official notification:

“Given the present macroeconomic factors, which have caused the Pakistani rupee to depreciate significantly against the US dollar, it is impossible for us to maintain the current retail selling prices. Sadly, we are forced to pass on the burden to the clients.”
