World Bank Signs Agreement with Pakistan Worth $85 Million

The World Bank has signed an agreement with Pakistan for the Pakistan Housing Finance Project (PHFP).  Sardar Ayaz Sadiq (Minister for Economic Affairs) was present during the signing ceremony in Islamabad.

The agreement is worth $85m and it aims to benefit the low and middle-income households in the country. The agreement with the world bank will also promote sustainable and inclusive economic growth. 

The Acting Country Director of the Bank has assured the World Bank’s continuous technical and financial assistance to the Government of Pakistan.
