US tech giant Google is launching a circular economy startup accelerator in an effort to support the entrepreneurs and non-profit organizations in Pakistan, Asia-Pacific, and North America.

Application Dates: October 4, 2022 to November 14, 2022.
Program Starting Date: The program is scheduled to start in February 2023.
In this programme, Google will choose and support companies and nonprofit groups that use technology to address issues with circularity. Google has long been a strong supporter of supporting a healthy economy and fresh business concepts. The digital giant most recently launched a startup accelerator to advance the circular economy in Pakistan.
It’s crucial for individuals to innovate and develop excellent economic solutions since Pakistan, in particular, is suffering from the hazardous repercussions of climate change across the entire Asia-Pacific region. Exactly this will be enhanced by Google Startup.
Organizations who employ technology to address circularity issues will be chosen for the programme. These challenges include:
- Reusing
- Refilling
- Recycling
- Composting
- Fashion
- Food
- Safe and Circular Materials
- Protection of the Environment
In order to rebuild our relationship with physical resources and address circularity issues, the programme aims to support businesses that will contribute to the development of a circular economy that is more sustainable, safer, and equal for everyone.
The accelerator offers ten weeks of virtual programming with technical support and coaching from Google engineers and outside experts through a combination of one-on-one and one-to-many learning sessions.
A dedicated success manager will also be allocated to each participant to provide support tailored to their organization.
