Xiaomi is increasingly upgrading the RedmiBook portfolio for 2021, and the RedmiBook 15 is next on the list. In China, the company has unveiled the newest edition of the RedmiBook 15 Pro, which features the latest Intel processors and displays with resolutions of up to 3.2K.
The specifications of the RedmiBook 15 Pro 2021 are nearly identical to those of its 14-inch counterpart, which was released earlier this month. The latest monitor, which has a refresh rate of up to 90Hz and a resolution of 3200 x 2000 (nearly 4K), is once again the standout feature. This monitor has a 178-degree viewing angle and matches 100% of the sRGB color gamut.
Under the hood, you’ll find the newest Intel processors, including Core i5 and Core i7 models. The Nvidia MX450 handheld graphics are combined with 16GB of DDR4 3200Mhz RAM, 512GB of PCIe SSD capacity, and the Nvidia MX450 CPU.
The battery is a 70-watt-hour cell that can be charged via a USB C port and supports 100W super fast charging. This enables the laptop to be charged up to 50% in just 30 minutes.
The base model of the RedmiBook 15 Pro costs $758, while the top model costs $968. For the time being, it is only accessible in China, although it should be available internationally soon.
