Huami’s Amazfit company has released the new T-Rex Pro smartwatch range, which features a durable look and increased 10ATM water resistance.
As the name implies, the current watch is an update to the original T-Rex, which was a popular item with positive feedback.
T-Rex Pro
The T-Rex Pro has a 1.3-inch AMOLED display with 360p resolution and an always-on feature. The watch is safe from rough impacts due to Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and an oleophobic coating.
A 3-axis acceleration sensor, a blood-oxygen saturation monitoring device, a Geomagnetic sensor, an Altimeter, a 3-axis gyroscope, 10 ATM water-resistance, and four global navigation satellite systems are all used. For optimum networking, Bluetooth 5.0 BLE has been integrated. The style is appealing, and the silicone strap feels comfortable against the skin.
Modes and Battery
The T-Rex Pro comes with over 100 sports modes embedded inside its underwater user interface, which are supported by the brand’s operating system (RTOS). Onboard the BioTracker-2 PPG Bio-Tracking Sensor is a 24-hour heart rate monitor that warns users if their heart rate is too high. To improve usability, the brand has incorporated a sleep monitoring feature in the smartwatch.
A 390mAh battery provides fuel, with an average battery life of 18 days or up to 9 days under heavy use. The battery lasts 40 hours in GPS mode and charges in 90 minutes (as advertised) using a magnetic charging base.
The T-Rex Pro is available in three colors: Meteorite Black, Desert Grey, and Steel Blue, and costs $179.99.
