Released worldwide on October 13, the Legend of Maula Jatt ranks 1st at the UAE Box Office, 6th in Canada, 8th in Australia, and 9th in the UK. 

Produced by Encyclomedia, Lashari films, and AAA Motion Pictures, the movie has been released worldwide on over 500 screens across 25 countries.

The movie has become a hit just a few days after its release, earning praise in Pakistan and abroad. 

In its opening weekend, the movie collected Pakistani PKR 50.91 crores, US$2.3mn becoming the highest-earning Pakistan-made, Punjabi language film so far. 

Maula Jatt Reaches CA$324,000 in Canada

In Canada, it has grossed CA$324,000 ranking at 6 in the Canadian Box Office. Collections in North America surpassed US$600,000. 

The movie has made the biggest entry yet by any Pakistan-made film in the UK and has reached 9th position in the UK Box Office Top 10. 

The movie has also been rated 9.5/10 on IMDB, becoming the highest-rated Pakistani film.

Grosses US $515,000+ in the UAE

The Legend Of Maula Jatt has shown great performance yet again even in the UAE, grossing US$515,000+ in just 4 days.

Maula Jatt has reached the number 1 spot at the UAE Box Office. 

In Australia, it has gained AU $255,000 and has also been streamed in Norway, Netherlands, Germany, Spain, and Southeast Asia.

Maula Jatt Beats Deadlock in Pakistan

Amid conflicts between major distributor and the makers, the movie is currently being screened at the following number of locations in Pakistan:

  • 1 theater in Islamabad
  • 1 in Karachi
  • 6 in Lahore
  • 2 in Gujranwala
  • 2 in Multan
  • 2 in Sialkot
  • 1 in Gujrat
  • 1 in Sargodha
  • 1 in Mandi Baha Uddin

The Legend of Maula Jatt is not being screened by the two major Pakistani cinemas: Nueplex and Cinepax. 

According to the actor Syed Jibran, the distributor is demanding increased ticket prices and a share between the cinemas and the makers. 

Expressing his disappointment, he added that this act will greatly damage the chance for the movie to make a historic box office score.

Nonetheless, the movie is still performing well and is on its way to becoming a classic for generations to enjoy.
