- Karachi is all set to commence the 11th international arms exhibition this Tuesday.

The Ministry of Defense Production and the Defense Export Promotion Organization are working together to organize the 11th International Defense Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS) this year.
The event will take place from November 15 to November 18. And Pakistan will showcase its innovations and breakthroughs in “arms for peace” in it.
Alongside IDEAS, a seminar on the value of AI in military affairs will also be held.
Senior defense officials from over 64 countries, including Hungary, Romania, and Austria, will attend the event, sources say.
It’s worth also noting that this bi-annual event was canceled in the past because of the Covid-19 outbreak, and it’s happening after almost four years.
