Women Entrepreneurs Get Up to Rs1.5 Million loan through Khud mukhtar Khatoon Scheme.

Business funding programs supporting women entrepreneurs in Pakistan

Pakistan has launched a new digital financing program to help women entrepreneurs grow their businesses. The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) approved this initiative, allowing women who own small and medium-sized businesses to apply for financing entirely online.

How the New Digital Financing Program Will Help Women Entrepreneurs?

Under this program, eligible women can receive financing ranging from 100,000 to Rs 1.5 million, depending on the type of their business, its needs, and credit assessment.

The money would help them purchase equipment, tools, and other business-related assets that can support the growth of their business.

The program, called “Khud Mukhtar Khatoon,” is Pakistan’s first digital funding solution for women entrepreneurs. It specifically supports women who own and operate small businesses. The women’s program is also Shariah-compliant, making it perfect for those who prefer Islamic financing options.

This project aims to support the majority of women to access business finance. It is difficult for many women entrepreneurs to obtain financial assistance, making it difficult to develop their businesses.  By making financing easy, the program is expected to help women expand their businesses in Pakistan, craete job opportunities for them and others, and contribute to Pakistan’s economy.
