A coal-powered project of 1360 MegaWatts is set to begin in Thar in 2023.
The project will be executed with Chinese cooperation.
Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Murad Ali Shah announced the project while talking to a Chinese delegation.
China-Pakistan Partnership
Talking on the matter, Sindh Chief Minister said that China-Pakistan strong friendship has been further strengthened by CPEC.
He added that Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto laid the foundations of friendship with China.
He further stated that mutual cooperation has been increasing day by day, benefiting both regions.
