One Bowl Banana Bread

When you’re in a hurry for a nutritious dessert, this simple bread recipe is a great choice. Simply combine the ingredients in a dish, stir them together, and bake them.

  •  3-4 ripe bananas, mashed
  •  1/3 cup butter, melted
  •  3/4 cup granulated sugar
  •  1 egg, beaten
  •  1 teaspoon vanilla
  •  1 teaspoon baking soda
  •  1 teaspoon baking powder
  •  1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  •  1/8 teaspoon salt
  •  1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. An 8.5-4.5-inch loaf pan should be lightly greased and floured or sprayed with baking spray.
  2. Combine the mashed bananas with the melting butter in a big mixing cup, then add the honey, egg, and vanilla. Using a big wooden spoon, thoroughly mix it together.
  3. Over the banana mixture, sprinkle the baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. To mix, stir all together.
  4. Stir in the flour and walnuts or chocolate chips (if using) until no flour streaks remain. Pour the batter into the loaf pan that has been packed.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes in the pan before turning out onto a wire rack to cool entirely. Serve by slicing into 10 thick slices.

Banana Bread with Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chips

If you like your desserts to be extra tasty, this banana bread with peanut butter and chocolate chips is for you.

  • all-purpose flour (optional)
  • 1 cup sugar (granulated)
  • 1 teaspoon powdered baking soda
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt 1 tsp pumpkin pie seasoning
  • 12 cup bananas, mashed approximately 3–4 bananas
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened or sweetened applesauce
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter (creamy)
  • 1/4 cup vegetable OR canola oil
  • 2 eggs
  • vanilla extract (two teaspoons)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, tiny

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Using cooking oil, coat two 8-inch loaf pans. Alternatively, 4-5 miniature loaf pans may be used. You can’t get any of the batter into one 9-inch loaf tin, so don’t try.
  • Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and pumpkin pie spice in a big mixing cup. Some clumps can be broken up with a whisk.
  • Combine the mashed bananas, applesauce, peanut butter, oil, eggs, and vanilla extract in a separate smaller dish. Mix it with a whisk (I use the same one I used before).
  • Mix the wet and dry products along with a rubber spatula or a wooden spoon. Add the chocolate chips and mix well.
  • The batter should be split evenly between the two pans. Just half of each pan can be filled. Add some more chocolate chips to the tip (if wanted).
  • Preheat oven to 350°F and bake for 45-50 minutes. For the last 15 minutes of preparation, cover lightly with foil (just lay a piece of tin foil over the tops of the loaf pans) to prevent the bread from browning too much.
  • Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 15-20 minutes before removing it to cool entirely on a cooling rack.
