How to Apply for Sehat Insaf Card: Criteria, Info, & Hospitals

Sehat Sahulat Program is an important initiative towards social welfare. It ensures that the underprivileged population in the country gets necessary and basic health care services in a swift manner without any financial obligations. They have an overall satisfaction rate of 97% which depicts that it is running successfully across the country.

The Sehat Insaf Card was launched in the tenure of Prime Minister Imran Khan. He made sure that the poor community of the country benefited from this scheme. The Sehat Insaf Card has been launched in a total of 68 districts of Pakistan:

To avail healthcare services, it is necessary that you are registered in the NADRA and have specialized CNIC’s.

How to Apply for Sehat Insaf Card Online

Below is the step-by-step guide on how to apply for the Sehat Insaf Card (also known as Qaumi Sehat Card) online. These six steps are very easy to follow by all age groups.

Step 1: Check Your Eligibility

It can be done in two ways:

SMS: SMS your National Identity Card Number to 8500.
Online: Visit Sehat Sahulat Program online or follow this link to check Eligibility.

Step 2: Get Your Sehat Insaf Card

After you have been declared eligible to avail of healthcare services, collect your Sehat Insaf card from the distribution center of the district.

Step 3: Gather Information and Documents

Gather all the necessary information and documents required. Determine the empaneled hospitals both government as well as private for Sehat Sahulat Program.

For every visit, the following documents are a must:

Sehat Insaf card
Original CNIC
B-Form for child treatment

Step 4: Use Sehat Insaf Card for Treatment

After reaching an empaneled hospital, approach the dedicated Sehat Sahulat Program representative counter for further assistance. The SSP staff will verify your Sehat Insaf card and will transfer you to the relevant department of the hospital for consultation and treatment.

Step 5: Get the Treatment Free of Cost

This free-of-cost treatment is provided in case the patient is admitted to the hospital. The cost of this treatment will be charged from the Sehat Insaf Card of the patient.

Step 6: Provide Feedback

Feedbacks after you receive your treatment can be provided in three ways:

Online: Through the website feedback form
Call from SSP Staff: They will call you to take feedback.

Treatment Packages

There are two types of treatment packages offered by the Sehat Sahulat Program. There are:

Secondary Care

Initial coverage: PKR 60,000 per family per year
Additional coverage: PKR 60,000 per family
Inpatient services (all medical and surgical procedures)
Emergency treatment requiring admission
Maternity services (normal delivery and c-section)
Maternity consultancy and antenatal checkups (4 times before delivery and 1 follow up)
Maternity consultancy for family planning, immunization, and nutrition
Fractures and injuries
Post hospitalization
Local transport cost of PKR 1000 (thrice a year)
Provision of transport to tertiary care hospitals
