PMA Wins 2nd Position in International Pace Sticking Competition 2 Years in a Row

The Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul has successfully taken 2nd place in International Pace Sticking Competition which was held at Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom (UK).

A total of 16 teams participated, and five Drill Sergeants from Pakistan participated in the event. The performance was applauded by all, and Havildar Nauman was declared the best individual Drill Sergeant.

Consecutive Wins for PMA

PMA Kakul secured the 1st position for 3 consecutive years from 2018 to 2020. In 2022 and 2023, it won the 2nd position in the event.

Due to the pandemic, the competition was not held in 2021.

On PMA’s victory, the British audience lauded its performance and praised the drill squad.

About PMA

Pakistan Military Academy is a military officers’ training center located in the district of Abbottabad, near Kakul village in the KP province.

It was established in October 1947 and is the sole service academy that trains cadets to serve in the Pakistani Army.

For the educational training of officers, the institution is accredited by NUST, which is one of the top universities in the country.
