Rawalpindi Gets Aerospace Science & Technology Park to Promote R&D

On August 4th, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif inaugurated the National Aerospace Science and Technology Park in Rawalpindi.

The park aims to foster research, development, and innovation in the fields of aviation, space, information technology, and cyber domains.

During the inaugural ceremony, the Prime Minister emphasized the park’s alignment with the Special Investment Facilitation Council’s goals for agriculture, aviation, science, and technology sectors’ development.

Notably, the project has garnered support from both the public and private sectors, international companies, and the Ministry of Information Technology.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also commended Air Chief Marshal Zaheer ud Din Babar for his significant contributions to the project’s realization. The event was attended by Federal Ministers, Services chiefs, and senior civil and military officials.

In addition to this milestone, on August 3rd, the 4th Naval Corvette War Ship was launched in Karachi as part of the Pak-Turkey Agreement. This joint venture between Turkey and Pakistan aims to enhance Pakistan’s defense capabilities and ensure a safer maritime environment in the country.
