For the past few months, the prices of fuel have been rising continuously. This rapid increase affects the daily lives of the populace. The rise in petrol and diesel not only makes daily transportation hard, but it also affects almost everything in the market, from transport fares and food items to daily household goods. When fuel becomes expensive, the small daily routines become extremely hard for low-income families.
To ease the burden on the general public, the Punjab Government has introduced a fuel subsidy Punjab program. The motive of this initiative is to give financial relief to people who are struggling due to high fuel prices. The main focus is to help those whose earning depends on daily traveling, such as motorcycle riders, daily wage earners, laborers, or students.
Under this scheme, the Punjab Government will give you 2,000 Rs every month for bike fuel. In easy words Rs 100 per liter subsidy on 20 liters of fuel. You will receive this balance through the mobile app or SMS and use it for your bike every month.
How to Register for the Fuel Subsidy Program?
For fuel subsidy registration, you can register in either of the ways.
- By calling the helpline at 1000
- By using the app “ Maryam Ko Batayn.”
- By applying online through the official website
Please note that the methods only work if you are a resident of Punjab and your bike is registered in Punjab.

How to apply for fuel subsidy in Punjab Through App
Step 1: Download the App
To get the fuel subsidy mobile app, download the Maryam Ko Batayn app from the Google Play Store on your phone.
Step 2: Sign Up for an Account
Fuel subsidy registration is easy. After downloading, open the app and click on sign up at the bottom of the screen. The app will ask you for the following details.
- Name
- CNIC
- Mobile Number
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- Password
- Confirm Password
Fill these required fields carefully and click sign up.
Step 3: Verify Mobile Number (OTP)
Once you’re finished with the sign-up details, you will receive an OTP via SMS on the mobile number you just provided. Enter this code into the app to verify the number.
Step 4: Select the subsidy option
Once the number is verified, log back into the app and select a subsidy option. Click on Bike Petrol Fuel Subsidy.
Step 5: Register for the Scheme
This app will ask you for more information. Fill in all the required fields to officially apply for the scheme.
Step 6: Wait for Approval
After submitting the details, your application is complete. You will be given a specific Request ID. You can always check the status of your application by going to the “Pending Requests” section inside the app

This scheme works on first come first served basis, means the people who apply early will get the subsidy while others have to wait their turn.
