Umair Jaswal, a singer and actor from Pakistan, revealed on Wednesday that he will be playing the role of legendary fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar in the upcoming Biopic Rawalpindi Express.
He wrote about it on social media, saying:
“Super excited to announce this with all of you. I’m honored to play the living legend, Mr. Shoaib Akthar on the big screen in RAWALPINDI EXPRESS.”
The directors of the biopic are Muhammad Faraz Qaiser and Qaiser Nawaz and the film is expected to be released on November 16, 2023.
