Addressing a press conference at Phoolnagar, the minister stated that the Matiari-Head Balloki transmission line was initiated during the time when Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was in power ten years ago.

The 886-kilometer-long Matiari-Head Balloki transmission line is a project under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.

The total investment for this project was $1,658.34 million, it created 2,212 jobs in Pakistan and helped NTDC to reduce power losses.
