PM Shehbaz Sharif has approved a 3-day holiday for Eid ul Adha, from June 29th to 1st July. Offices that are open on Saturday will remain closed for the Eid holidays.
Earlier this week, fake holiday posts were circulating the internet, but now the Government of Pakistan has made it official.

On 19th June, the Zullhajj moon was sighted by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee. The committee announced Eid on 29th June.
As Eid falls on Thursday, citizens will only get 2-day leaves mixed with the weekend.
Although a bit disappointing, the blessing of Zullhajj and Eid will surely make us all forget about it.
