At the UBIT Career Fest 2022, Karachi, Syed Amin-ul-Haque (Federal Minister for Information Technology) stated that 5G will be launched in Pakistan in July 2023.
During the event, Amin-ul-Haque underlined the need for cooperation between the Ministry of Information Technology and Universities so future IT needs are met.
He added that technology is being embedded in daily life, very fast.
He explained that IT exports increased by 47.44% and that the increase was more than what was observed in any other Ministry of Pakistan.
The UBIT Career Fest 2022 was organized by the Department of Computer Science, at the University of Karachi.
The IT Minister was invited to the event as a chief guest.
