The minister of information technology and telecommunication Syed Amin ul Haque on Sunday said that 70 projects, costing around sixty-five billion rupees, have been initiated to improve connectivity in Pakistan. 

While speaking at the Pakistan Social Media Association (PSMA) groundbreaking inauguration event at Newports Institute of Communication and Economics, he said connectivity is very significant in the present era for the development and prosperity of any country.

He said that after being appointed IT Minister, he began developing mobile manufacturing factories and was successful in doing so.

There are already 22 mobile manufacturing plants in Pakistan, he continued.

Amin says that 70 projects totaling Rs 65 billion will improve connectivity in the country while allowing people to work more smoothly.
