Monash University invites all students from different countries to apply for the Monash International Merit Scholarship.
If you have received an offer from Monash or if you are currently enrolled at Monash University, you can apply for the scholarship.
Scholarship Value
The university is offering up to $50,000 total scholarship, $10,000 per annum. A total of 31 scholarships are being offered per year.
Eligibility
Here’s the eligibility criteria for Monash International Merit Scholarship:
- International student
- Intending to enroll full-time in an undergraduate program
- Intending to enroll full-time in a postgraduate (coursework) program
Both Masters’s and Bachelors’s degrees are offered at the Monash campus in Australia
For new students
- Must have received a Monash offer
For current students
- Must have covered a minimum of 2 semesters in Australia
- Students enrolled in the BS Medicine or BS Surgery (Honours) course or the (MD) course must have completed and obtained results for a minimum of 4 semesters.
Selection Criteria
- High academic achievement.
- Current students having minimum weighted average marks of 85
- Scholarship application statement (500 words)
- Potential to be a Monash University ambassador
- Preference will be given to commencing students
Retaining the Scholarship
- Maintain a distinction average in each semester (70% or above)
- Participate in minimum three Marketing and/or Scholarship promotional activities

- Submit an application form for the scholarship
- Before applying, you must have received a full Monash course offer (no conditions)
