According to Rafique Suleman Convener Rice Committee at FPCCI,
Azerbaijan has removed Custom Duty (CD) on rice imports from Pakistan.
The exemption is for 5 years, till 2027.
Rice Exports Can Reach $20 Million Per/Year
Rafique Suleman added that the development can help increase the volume of rice exports by $20 million per year.
He lauded the steps taken by the Azerbaijan government and the Ministry of Commerce (MoC) for taking several steps to boost two-way trade with Azerbaijan.
