Tourist lynched to death over blasphemy allegations in Swat.

A resident of Sialkot, Muhammad Ismail, recently visited Swat to spend his Eid vacation and was beaten to death and set on fire by an angry mob. This incident was connected to an allegation of blasphemy in swat. 

Swat is well well-known tourist place; thousands of people from different cities of pakistan visit during Eid vacations. Mardan, the incident location, is a major tourist place. 

The tourist from Sialkot was accused of desecrating the Holy Quran in the market outside the hotel of Mardan.  The police immediately arrested him and took him into the custody. However, this did not calm down the large crowd that had gathered outside the police station. They became extremely violent, breaking the police station and attacking both the accused and the police. Eventually the accused was dragged outside beaten to death and burnt by the mob.

The mob also shared the video of the burning man alive on social media, which left people speechless and angry.

The angry mob also burned goods and vehicles in the police station, which resulted in 11 people getting badly injured reported by the District Police Office (DPO) of the area. 

Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Khan Gandapur, took notice of this horrible incident by ordering an inquiry report from the inspector.  He also instructed police to bring necessary measures to bring the situation under control.
