Agha Hassan Baloch, federal minister for science and technology, presided over the sixth meeting of the Senate’s subcommittee at COMSATS University in Islamabad. The Director General Faculty Affairs Higher Education Commission (HEC) Islamabad, Prof. Dr. Muammad Tabbasum Afzal, and Mr. Ghulam Muhammad Memon, Secretary Science and Technology, all attended the meeting. Senior officers of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Mr. Muhammad Raza Chohan, Mr. Muhammad Azam, Treasurer of COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), and Senior officials from the Ministry of Science and Technology, including Mr. Muhammad Azam.
Comsats Aims To Open New Campuses in Sukkur and Quetta
A federal minister emphasized the necessity of COMSATS University (CUI) additional campuses in Sukkur and Quetta.In the meeting, the subcommittee also approved the proposal to affiliate educational institutions with the COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) in order to raise the quality of education in the nation and the university’s financial standing.
Following careful consideration of the appointment of the Registrar of COMSATS University’s agenda, the Subcommittee agreed to restart the process.
The Rector of COMSATS University provided an update on the status of the decisions made during the Subcommittee of the Senate’s Fifth Meeting.The Federal Minister praised the university’s efforts to advance education in the nation and expressed the hope that it would continue to raise standards for instruction while also promoting good governance.
