Karachi: A software engineer killed the Chief operating officer (CEO) of a private company over a financial matter inside their office on the fourth floor of Kawish Crown Plaza located on Shara-e-Faisal on Monday evening.
This Tragic incident involved the death of Naveed (CEO) of the pakistan office of a foreign company was rushed to the hospital. According to the SSP, Naveed was CEO of the Pakistan office for the last 9 years. He was in his office when Shoaib (Soft engineer) went to his office, and they had a serious conflict over the salary that was not paid to Shoaib, leading to this unfortunate outcome.
According to the investigation team, Shoaib, who was 27 years old, stabbed the CEO with a sharp object, which caused the death. The body of the victim was shifted to Jinnah Hospital for postmortem.
Naveed Khan tried to save his life, ran out of the office, and collapsed in the building’s basement. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, and he didn’t survive his injuries, leaving 3 children behind.
After the incident, Shoaib remained in the office with the weapon and was arrested by police later.
