Foodpanda, the country’s most popular online delivery service, has teamed up with Panther Tyres to further reduce delivery riders’ costs. All foodpanda riders will receive free tyres and discounts as a result of the partnership.
Recently, foodpanda’s Farhan Khan (Director Operations), Haider Malik (Director Logistics) and Sheryar Junaid (Director Rider Experience) attended a signing ceremony in this respect. Meanwhile, Khuram Javed (COO), Usman Mukhttar Gondal (Marketing Manager), Usama Imran (Brand Manager) and Asim Ahmed Abro (GM Marketing & Sales) from Panther Tyres were in attendance.
Rising inflation and gasoline prices in Pakistan have taken a toll on the discretionary income of delivery drivers across the country. Foodpanda riders will be able to get tyres and tubes for free or at a discount as a result of this collaboration, which will also make bike maintenance easier and less time-consuming.
In accordance with the agreement, Panther Tyres will provide foodpanda riders a cost-effective option for purchasing their high-quality tyres. Foodpanda’s hubs and rest stops will also benefit from the arrangement, which includes post-sale services.
Farhan Khan, Director of Operations at foodpanda, commented on this development that: “Economic conditions are impacting all of us today but a substantial onus of this impact falls on the segment which also includes our riders. Being a socially responsible entity, foodpanda has always strived towards finding ways to ease the impact and provide maximum support to its riders in managing their routine expenses. Our partnership with Panther Tyres is just another constructive step in achieving this goal.”
