Abdul Kadir Jailani, Indonesia’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Asia-Pacific and African Affairs, has highlighted Indonesia’s desire to invest in Pakistan’s Special Economic Zones (SEZs).

According to him, the SEZs and China-Pakistan Economic Corridor are both significant projects, and Indonesia is now assessing its involvement in both.

He said that Indonesia would serve as Pakistan’s entry point into the ASEAN nations. 

Jailani also recognized the enormous potential for enhancement in Pakistan-Indonesia’s economic, commercial, and diplomatic ties.

He said that bilateral commerce between the two nations had already reached $4 billion dollars, with more potential to be accomplished in the future.

Concerning the promotion of tourism in countries, he praised Pakistan as a very exceptionally compelling country with stunning natural beauty and emphasized the numerous prospects for cooperation between the two countries in this sector as well.
