The Ministry of Information Technology and Telecom conducted the groundbreaking ceremony of the Karachi IT park, on Nov 7th.
The multi-billion-rupee IT Park Project will benefit 200 tech companies.
The Karachi IT Park will also create employment opportunities for 20,000 young IT professionals.
Karachi IT Park to be Completed by 2026
According to reports, the IT Park project was approved in June 2021 by Ecnec and will be completed by 2026. It has an estimated cost of Rs 42 billion.
The IT Park will be completed by June 2026. According to Syed Amin-Ul-Haque (Federal Minister for IT & Telecom), the park will serve as a place where businesses can develop and prosper.
